About the Role

Responsibilities

• Experience with backups, restore and recovery models.
• Experience in clustering and replication is a must.
• Knowledge of High Availability (HA) and Disaster Recovery (DR).
• Experience in refreshing lower environments with production.
• Experience working with Linux.
• Proactively review of the database logs to identify possible bottlenecks.
• Experience in troubleshooting problems.
• Proficient in Linux OS and a very good hand on Linux commands.

Candidate Requirements

• Must be aware of various database monitoring tools.
• Excellent written and verbal communication.
• Ability to organize and plan work independently and work in a rapidly changing environment.
• Ability to multi-task and context-switch effectively between different activities.
• Willing to work in shifts.
